Summer’s end

A week or so ago the temperature just flipped a switch and i believe it’s now fall. Sure, September 22nd passed too but it officially FEELS like fall now and that is my favorite season. I can’t really tell it’s fall since there aren’t any aspens here to drive it home, the Black Oak’s don’t change colors for another month or more.  For July and August it was mostly in the upper 80s to mid-90’s here (freaking hot), and it’s barely crested 75 this last week.

For the end of summer, here are some pictures i’ve neglected to post and just ‘found’ them on my camera the other day. Not too many of around the local trails, more were taken on a Hole in the Ground and Donner Lake Rim Trail ride a few weeks back.
